CEO STAHL Huub van Beijeren visits Mongolia

On the 5th of September the STAHL CEO Huub van Beijeren visited Mongolia together with Mike Tomkin (director sustainability). It was the first time van Beijeren visited the country and apart from visiting customers it was a good opportunity to get more feeling with the nomadic traditions of Mongolia during a visit with a herder family and when attending music concerts. "It´s always good to have a broader understanding of a country when you do business there." On Thursday the 11th during the STAHL / MiM reception in the hotel Blue Sky van Beijeren showed the audience to be confident that the leather sector in Mongolia will show great improvements within five years. STAHL is ready to support in this. Mike Tomkin gave an introduction on the STAHL CAMPUS and the opportunity for technicians and students to follow short courses at STAHL. Together with stake-holders in the sector and with support of the Mongolian ministry of agriculture special STAHL CAMPUS courses will be organized in Mongolia starting in March 2015.
